MINI Cooper – the brand that defines small-car urban hipness – will play a big role in the upcoming CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair – Art & Music Festival, scheduled for June 1-2 at Denver’s Civic Center. We’re happy to tell that Ralph Schomp MINI has signed on as the exclusive automotive sponsor of the 42nd Annual People’s Fair!
“We’re excited to be supporting the People’s Fair,” said Ralph Schomp MINI President, Aaron Schomp Wallace. “My family has very deep roots in Capitol Hill. My grandfather and great-grandfather would have loved our involvement, since our family’s original Denver dealership was located just a couple of blocks down Broadway from Civic Center. There’s definitely some additional synergy because the Fair is a major downtown event and the MINI is the most urban vehicle on the road right now.”

The Schomp organization wants the public to experience an alternative way to look at our MINIs,” said Ralph Schomp MINI General Manager Mark Osborne. “The energy, diversity and passion of the People’s Fair will be a great match for the MINI brand.”
And that’s not all – Ralph Schomp MINI is also sponsoring an artists’ competition to build excitement for the People’s Fair. How would you like to decorate a full-size MINI? Artists are being invited to submit design concepts for how they would decorate one. The artist with the winning concept will have a chance to execute their “MINI masterpiece” concept on a real MINI during the two-day Fair.
