Friday Recap 03/02: All Things People’s FairPosted: March 2, 2012
It has been a busy week here at CHUN getting ready for the 41st Annual Capitol Hill People’s Fair!
Here is what is HAPPENING in case you missed it!
91 days to go…
- Green Up-date– Please mark your calendar for April 4th! On this day, 5% of all net sales at Whole Foods Market will go towards the ‘GREEN UP Denver’ movement! The participating locations include: Whole Foods- Cherry Creek, Capitol Hill, Tamarac, Colorado Blvd or Washington Park. Six of your favorite outdoor fesitvals including us are taking part in this new and exciting, green initiative- Cherry Creek Arts Festival, CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair, Denver County Fair, and Pridefest. While we all can agree, that there is nothing better than enjoying a great outdoor urban festival with friends and family in the city you call home, as producers of these events we need to do our best to make sure these events leave as little negative impact on our environment as possible. We LOVE the city we live, play and work in and are so lucky to call Denver home. It is a wonderful, energetic, beautiful, clean city- and it is vital that we all do our part to keep it that way!! Please help us make our green effort a lasting one- shop at one of the 5 metro Whole Foods locations April 4th and help us push the 2012 festival season to the next level of GREEN!
